Up to Type 4 civilization, all the assumptions are based on facts and things we know. But starting from Type 5, we are stepping into the unknown and unseen things like the multiverse. Today, let us discuss Type 5 civilization. Multiverse must be there if Type 5 civilization to have existed.
Type 5 Civilization is beyond our universe and has discovered the multiverse. They will have complete control over the multiverse and have complete knowledge over anything that has happened, is happening, and will happen in the multiverses. The multiverse is infinite so the energy that a Type 5 civilization will have been infinite. Again, everything that can happen always happens in the multiverse. So, a Type 5 civilization has created an alternate reality if they desire. There are infinite versions of our universe, each slightly different from ours.
A Type V civilization would be advanced enough to escape their universe of origin and explore the multiverse. Such a civilization would have mastered the technology to a point where they could simulate or build a custom universe. Such a hypothetical civilization might be able to harness and use the energy output of the whole multiverse consisting of every universe and the alternate reality of every universe inside it. Most likely they live in a pure hypothetical kind of realm outside of the multiverse. Perhaps if one manages to leave his own universe, he might witness the quick destruction of some universes which may be the result of wars between these Type 5 civilizations. They can create universes, change the laws of physics at will even by using their “small pocket devices” The life expectancy of an individual of one of the Type 5 countries outside of the Multiverse might last hundreds of billions of years according to the counting of the years by the humans on Earth.
Such a civilization might be at least as old as some billions of years with such a rich history our human one might look like a brief millisecond and bore in comparison with it. To “primitive” civilizations (like a type 02 civilization) they might be gods of their legends. Their machines might look like bacteria, viruses, the laws of physic itself, and at the same time they might have constructed hyper megastructures as large as whole universes to live in, to transform their energy, to create universes. In their normal Joe’s life, they might be willing to create natural environments, others might like to live in hyper high-tech structures. They totally completed a transhumanist’s life and the originally organic and the technological parts might be already indistinguishable since they totally perfection this technological development.
To us “pesky” type 0.7 humans their technology might look like the force of nature, they can manipulate how fast a whole universe expands, how it comes to existence. From our current state of scientific and technological development, we humans only can use our imagination to fantasize about a hypothetical Type 05 civilization since such a civilization is even so much more incomprehensible to our human brain as our today’s western styles 21st-century high tech civilization might look to a stone-age Cro-Magnon (who contrary to the Sentinels from the North Sentinel Island never heard from our civilization) human from Europe magically transferred into our current time.
An analogy (aka an attempt to put things into perspective)
Even we in our not that young anymore 21st century looks like gods with magical gadgets and an almost incomprehensible lifestyle in the eyes of a stone-age civilization and here are some examples:
1. Talking mirrors (aka smartphones).
2. The foldable pseudo stone tables with the little squares on one half, the stone of the dancing fingers, and the magical flat squares with that magical light. (Aka computers like the one on which I wrote this answer).
3. And they even talk with their “dancing fingers stone tables” and these magical stone tables even talk back! (Aka making use of Siri on a MacBook or Cortana on a Windows PC).
4. The shimmering stone-like round-legged monsters (aka cars).
5. These frightening shimmering air monsters devouring humans at special places (aka airplanes at airports).
6. The elongated serpent-like monsters walking on these long pathways which like the air monsters devouring humans in the masses never seen in their own community (aka trains on their railroad tracks).
7. The magical translucent pointy containers these white-clothed uses to heal humans (aka syringes in a medical clinic).
8. The fire-spitting stick-shaped clubs can kill a human at an unimaginable distance (aka machine gun).
9. And they even mounted large versions of the fire-spitting sticks on gigantic beasts walking on their own mobile way (aka battle tanks like the German Leopard II or the American Abrams M1A2)
10. And did you hear, they have the ability to leave the world and return at will. (Aka space flight like the moon landing and the International Space Station).
11. They can raise the dead. (Aka re-awakening a patient from a clinical coma).
12. The large artificial caves and tents of stone and a strange translucent plated material live in unimaginable luxury and an incomprehensible number, even the lowest ranking one. (Aka our modern housing with the glass windows in a developed city like my home city of Munich or New York City or Shanghai).
13. Some of them buy a staple of a fragile thin material with strange symbols and pictures painted on it (aka reading a newspaper).
14. No one in this large and deep ocean of artificial caves and stone tents with this unimaginable number of humans seems to be hungry. (Aka walking through New York City and see many obese humans).
15. And they walk in large brightly illuminated caves getting themselves their food and leaving small pieces of a fragile material or even just holding a small flat thing or their talking mirrors against another magical thing when leaving.
(Aka getting the pizza, the beer, the chips, and the soft drink for the movies night from a grocery store and paying with cash or even electronic with the credit card or smartphone).
16. Towers of stones and coated in the shimmering translucent plates reaching into the sky (aka the skyscrapers like the more than 850 meters tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai or the Olympic Tower in Munich or the One World Trade Centre in New York).
17. The magical spells they in this far-future uses to make their things work (aka the science of semiconductors used in our computers, the law of physic used to make a plane fly, to make a car run, or even such mundane things like switching on a light in the own main living room before starting to write an answer on an internet platform).
