Antimatter are the opposites of matter. They are identical in all respects to matter except for their charge. An antimatter proton has an electrical charge of -1e. Also, positron (antimatter electron) has an electrical charge of +1e. There is also antimatter neutron. You might wonder how a neutron can have its opposite charge when it’s neutral. I mean +0 = -0.
You are right but it is because antimatter neutron has antimatter quarks inside them. A regular neutron has two down quarks and one up quark. While an antimatter neutron has two antimatter down quark and one antimatter up quark.
So, antimatter are the opposites of matter identical to them except having opposite charge.
