How Time Causes Gravity?

Many explained that gravity is caused by the curvature of spacetime. The model is somewhat like this. Objects lie on top of spacetime and that causes curvature on spacetime like an object causing curvature when placed on top of a fabric. And when some objects come close near the curvature they orbit the objects or fall into it.

But, this causes many problems and is inconsistent with Relativity. Like, why does the object even fall into the object or orbit it? It is like using gravity to explain gravity. The above idea is not what Einstein mentioned in his Theory of Relativity and as always, to make the general public understand the idea has been mutated and there are errors while doing so.

Here is the correct explanation. We don’t lie on TOP of spacetime. We are inside the spacetime. We are NOT like this on spacetime.

The more correct illustration is this.

We see in the above picture that spacetime is curved. We will get to know the reason in a minute. We are 3d and the dimensions that is curved on spacetime is the time dimension because of time dilation.

Now, let us explore how time causes gravity. According to theory of Relativity, time ticks faster at higher heights than lower heights. That is not the exact explanation but the core idea is the same, ‘If there exists a difference between the heights of two heights, there is time dilation’. When you stand in normal position, your head moves faster in time than your feet. So your head is kinda time traveling into the future. OK! Now let’s go to the main point. No matter how small or large the height between two objects, there is always time dilation. What matters is the amount of time dilation. For small height difference, time dilation is small and vice-versa.

Also, remember everything moves forward in time. So let us take an analogy. Suppose you are living in an imaginary universe with no gravity as you understand. Just forget the difficulties or problems and let’s assume that there is a planet in it. Suppose you are 10 m above the ground. Then you have no reason to fall to the ground as there is no gravity. Which means you will stay in the same place forever. OR DO YOU FALL?

Again, we know that time dilation is always there inspite of how small the height between two points. Then your head moves faster in time than your feet. When there is no time dilation, the vector arrow in spacetime graph is towards the right parallel to the space axis, so you won’t fall whatsoever. But things are different when there is time dilation, your head is moving faster in time, so there is flow gradient in spacetime. Instead of being parallel with the space axis, the vector arrow is slightly tilted towards the space axis. As time progresses, the vector arrow becomes more and more tilted and at last, it falls to the ground. Boila! We have just predicted gravity. Gravity exists even if we don’t treat it as a force. The strange universe we have been imaginary is our universe.

There is no time dilation between the head and feet. So there is no flow gradient and the object will stay in the same place forever unless other unbalanced force are applied
There is a tiny time dilation between the head and feet. So the head slightly moves faster in time and the vector arrow is slightly tilted and there is flow gradient. As time progresses, the object falls to the ground.

  1. All objects (gravity, dark, anti, virtual . . . ) exist inside the Cosmic Vacuum
The masses of objects cause curvature of the straight way of light
The universe with no gravity is pure Cosmic Vacuum
Time and space are result of gravity masses.
Without gravity no gravity-time and no gravity-space

  2. Its complicated. Cant Really Understand Seems to me that every thing is going up including Earth So we don’t fall at all but because Earth is going up we keep to the floor. Obesely I Am wrong but I wish I can understand the situation better

  3. I don’t get it. Even if you where sitting 10 m above a planet with no gravity, isn’t entropy still moving towards disorder? Wouldn’t that still indicate time moving forward? And being that you are not moving, and there is no gravity, wouldn’t that mean there is just no time dilation? You are completely moving, full speed, in the time dimension?

    1. Hm… what about mass?

If I’m the person 10m above the planet and 180cm tall, then surely gravity would result in me reaching the planet sooner if I were 200kg as opposed to 50kg?

This doesn’t align with your explanation as you state height is the only factor.

      1. Gravitation acceleration is independent of mass. Objects of different masses experience different gravitational *forces*, which result in each object having the same acceleration. (F = ma)
